About NCT Consultants

NCT Consultants is a global group of companies that contributes to America’s, Europe’s and Coalition Countries’ warfighter’s and first responder’s mission and capabilities to counter the threats of weapons of mass destruction and mitigate its effects (WMD/E). The flagship activities of NCT Consultants are the NCT annual events in Europe, USA, South America, Asia Pacific region and the Middle East. These events are organized completely inhouse by a team of specialized CBRN training and event consultants. NCT events feature an industry leading conference, a technology exhibition with industry partners and high-quality networking opportunities.

Most NCT events include the NCT PRO eXperience Training concept in which regional teams train on current threats and experience the latest CBRNe products and solutions provided by industry. Twice a year, the weeklong NCT PRO Challenge allows teams to train on new skills and complex scenarios. This training event includes the participation of specialized SWAT and Special Forces units, and specialized CBRN CQB (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Close Quarters Battle) and live fire exercises making it one of the only CBRN CQB training events.

The position

We are looking for recently graduated (Master) students who wish to gain experience by working on an internship/traineeship in the Defense and Security sector. NCT Consultants has always recruited new employees from students who interned with us.

At NCT Consultants you have the opportunity to work on different aspects of our business. We pride ourselves in providing trainees with a work environment where you have more responsibility and opportunity to learn and perform than in any other company.

During this traineeship you will work on conference programs, support the development and editing of CBNW Magazine, assist marketing team in promotional and operational activities, help in the creation, planning and execution of the brand’s social media calendars, monitoring and driving engagement. As well as make researches on getting CBRNe training programs funded through government (EU/USA).

Your profile

You have affinity with the Defense and Security sector and have a clear wish to work in this community. Working at NCT Consultants takes a highly developed team spirit, while having the ability to work independently and with little supervision.

• Good written and verbal English language skills and preferably Spanish
• You are result oriented
• You like to work in a team and consider yourself a team player
• Graduated (or graduating) in a relevant field of study at a Masters level
• Have international experience
• No criminal record that could result in refusal of a security clearance (Restricted level).

The offer

This internship provides a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience in an international environment and could be the start of a career in the exciting world of security consultancy and events, within a growing company where rapid progression is possible. We offer a full-time internship for a minimum of six months with a compensation of Euro 500 per month.
